Local Realtor Wins 2004 Top 10 Sales Associate Web Site Contest

Sponsored by Florida Realtor Magazine/Florida Real Estate Headlines

ORLANDO, Fla., October 2004 -- Steven Lastowski, Licensed Real Estate Broker of Lastowski Realty, located in Tallahassee, is a winner in the Florida Association of Realtors© (FAR) 2004 Sales Associate Web Site Contest, sponsored by Florida Realtor magazine and Florida Real Estate Headlines.

Three top national real estate experts - Randy Eager, Allen Hainge and Stephen Canale, plus Chicago Realtor Roger Lautt - judged this year's entries for the Top 10 professional salesperson and company Web sites. Criteria for judging included Web site content, value to the consumer, ease of use and mechanisms for lead generation.

"To be on top in the real estate field, our Web site winners had to surpass the 'Wow' factor and produce results," says Doug Damerst, editor-in-chief of the Florida Realtor magazine, the business magazine of Florida real estate. "A competitive industry like real estate raises the marketing bar higher and higher every year and these Web sites jumped right over it to be the best of the best."

Contest winners are featured in "The Real Estate Solutions 2005 Guide," a special supplement to the November 2004 issue of Florida Realtor magazine, which is mailed to 110,000 member-subscribers in Florida.
